For current rates on commission charges please contact the office.

Costs applicable to on-site auctions will be incurred by the vendor according to contract terms outlined and agreed upon between the Vendor & Macquarie Auctions Management prior to implementation of the Auction.

For further details regarding the above information please don’t hesitate to contact one of our team.

Information for Buyers

Each sale is open for the inspection of goods the day prior to the auction. Our experienced staff can assist buyers with information on items being sold and auction procedures. Viewing times are advertised with the terms and conditions at the bottom of each sale.

These viewing times can be used for buyers to come and inspect the items for sale and where applicable can ask staff to start or test any items they might want to bid on.

All items are sold subject to the terms and conditions which are printed on the buyer’s registration and on the auction catalogue.

Buyer Registration
All people intending to purchase items must complete and sign a Buyer’s Registration form with their name, address, telephone number and Drivers Licence number before bidding.

Buyer’s Premium
A Buyer’s Premium will be charged on top of the price on the fall of the hammer price on all lots within the sale, unless otherwise stated in the catalogue or by the Auctioneer.

GST is mainly inclusive, but can be changed as per vendor request and this will be also stated in the Catalogue and by the Auctioneer.

These Terms & Conditions are always printed on the front page of the catalogue for each sale or displayed on a board where the registration desk is.

Many items in our auctions come with a manufacturers warranty and if so this is stated in the catalogue, otherwise the items are sold “AS IS” and you will need to inspect them before sale.

Payment and Removal
After an auction, all items must be paid for in full and removed by 4 pm on the auction day, unless otherwise arranged or as stated in different auctions. The buyer is responsible for the pickup and removal of all purchases. If items are not removed a storage fee may be applicable.

Payment can be made by Cash, EFT ($1 surcharge on transactions), Credit Card (2% surcharge on transactions) or Approved Cheque on the day of the sale or the following business day.
